My dad was in the hospital, and we knew he was not going to make it. He wanted to leave something for his granddaughter for Christmas. He approved this and it arrived the day before he passed away. She is going to treasure this forever. It is beautiful. I did touch the hair color up to add more white since he had beautiful white hair.

willow tree rocks. Captures a moment all grandfather/grandson can relate to.

My Daddy is seventy years old, but I am still his little girl. This touched me because this is his classic seating position. I can remember watching him sit like that with one hand on his knee even when I was little. Well now he is a grandpa with my nephews and niece so I get to see this same love and tenderness still, only this time I am an onlooker. He loved it and he cried when I gave it to him and Mom as an anniversary gift. He put it next to my Mom's gift of the Willow Tree "The Quilt" which totally embodied my Mom as well. Love all of the figurines!
