What to expect from One TIME, “Preservative, Protector & Stain all in One” ONE COAT APPLICATION – spread as far as it can go - more is not better. Estimated coverage of One TIME for newer wood (smooth wood with minimal cracks and crevices) is up to 300 sq. ft. per gallon. For older wood, coverage is estimated at up to 250 sq. ft. per gallon. Your wood is better protected from the elements of weather because One TIME is made up of 100% solids that cure into the wood and will not wash away like other products. One TIME has no water, no wax, no silicone, no oil and no VOC’s. One TIME cannot be mixed with other products. If you have previously applied another product on your wood, you need to completely and successfully remove it before applying One TIME. Failing to do so may inhibit the penetration and curing of One TIME, causing your wood to become tacky. Always test a small area before completion of project. You can remove any “feathered” areas in your wood with a light sanding after cleaning the wood and before applying One TIME. Mill glaze is present on NEW smooth cedar and restricts One TIME from working properly. Redwood needs to be weathered for 6 months before applying One TIME. *it is recommended to use a darker color on Cedar, Redwood and Exotic woods. NEW PRESSURE TREATED WOOD can have One TIME applied 2-4 weeks after installation. After applying One TIME, the wood may emit a whitish or yellowish substance usually from the knot areas. This is normal. Knots may be much lighter than the rest of the wood. One TIME does not cause overlap marks, run marks or drip marks. One TIME does not peel, flake, crack or chip. All exterior surfaces eventually get dirty. You may want to periodically clean your One TIME sealed wood with any mild cleaner or detergent.
