Albizia amara is a multipurpose legume tree by use various field’s viz. FODDER, ALS (leaf, , bark & flower), MEDICINE, SHADE (Tea & Coffee ations field), LIVE FENCING, ORNAMENTAL TREE, GREEN LEAF MANURE (N-fixing), CONTROL SOIL EROSION, TIMBER PURPOSE, CONSTRUCTION, FURNITURE & FIREWOOD..
It grows anywhere in India, in places where day temperatures range from 10-47°C, highly drought tolerant..
Green leaves are use to fodder for CATTLE, BUFFALO, SHEEP & GOATS. Improving milk yield & body weight also..
Seed requirement is 2 kg/hectare. Good germination capacity. In this green fodder having good tional like protein content is 18.7 % & fiber content is 22.8 %. An average green fodder yield about 6-8 tons green matter/hectare..

Albizia amara is a multipurpose tree of which many parts are used various field’s viz. Fodder, Medicine/als (leaf, , bark & flower), Shade (Tea & Coffee ations field), Live Fencing, Ornamental tree, Green leaf manure (N-fixing), Control soil erosion, Timber purpose, Construction & Furniture, Firewood, Leaves are sometimes used as an adulterant for tea and etc. It’s a small to medium-sized, deciduous, acacia-like tree, 7-20 feet high. It is many-branched and forms a wide, dense and rounded crown. It grows in places where day temperatures range from 10°C to 47°C, it almost suitable in anywhere in India. However, it is very hardy and highly tolerant of drought. The leaves are use to fodder for cattle, buffalo, sheep and goats, though they are less palatable than other forages. In ethno-veterinary medicine, preparations of leaves in mixture with other foliages are used to cure mastitis, mites and ticks infestations in animals. The can also be sown on field borders. Before seed sowing farmer can do for seed method; that’s can be soak in hot water (80 oC) for 10 minutes then move to normal water soaking for 12-15 hours, then move to sowing. Treated are grown on raised beds or in polythene bags during the beginning of rainy season. After 45 days transing to field from nursery/raised bed/polythene bag. Main field spacing follows 5-7 feet distance between two trees. Seed requirement is 2 kg/hectare. The tional level like protein content is 18.7 % and fiber content is 22.8 % in general. The average green fodder yield about 6-8 tons green matter/hectare. The general recommendation for green fodder to cow & buffalo for 5.5 kg/day and goat & sheep for 2-2.5 kg/day. First harvest is during period of 6-7 months and subsequent cuts are 50-60 days once.
