JETech Case for iPhone SE 3/2 (2022/2020 Edition), iPhone 8 and iPhone 7, 4.7-Inch, Non-Yellowing Shockproof Phone Bumper Cover, Anti-Scratch Clear Back (Black)

For what this case costs, it is a good case. But, I don't feel like it would provide maximum protection if my phone dropped. I purchased it for my new SE 3 because of the price. It is attractive as it is perfectly clear, it has a hard plastic backing with flexible rubber around the edges and all of the openings are perfectly aligned with everything, the camera, on/off button, etc.. This case fits the SE 3 like a glove. It claims to be non-yellowing which if it is, and only time will tell, that would be a great feature. I purchased a clear Otterbox a few years ago which ultimately yellowed but, it did a good job of protecting my phone after dropping it a few times. This case looks just like the Otterbox I have but the flexile rubber that surrounds the phone isn't nearly as thick. It also claims to have beveled edges around the openings, i.e. the camera, for better protection and cleaning, but it does not. Because it will not provide as much protection, I decided to buy another Otterbox because I think it will provide better protection and these phones are so darn expensive. But, the price is great for this case and a good case is still much better than no case at all. It will provide some protection. You may just have to be a little more careful. I gave it 5 stars because it still is a very nice and attractive case that fits nice and tight.

I am very pleased with this product. It is sturdy and just want I was looking for. I purchased another last week that I had to return as it was not.

Great Phone, Love it!

UPDATE: I originally gave this three stars for those sharp buttons, but after using it for a month or so, I'm bumping it to 4. You acclimate quickly to the very prominent buttons and truth be told they haven't snapped on pockets again (the day I got it, it snagged and I expected it to be the norm, but I guess that was a fluke). I can even say at night when I have to reach over to adjust the volume for my airpods, I can definitely find and feel the volume buttons more easily in the dark than I could with my previous case. I've also dropped the phone a time or two and so far the case has protected it, though the drops weren't from really high and not onto concrete. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I was really not expecting the buttons on this case to be so sharp—not sharp enough to cut skin, of course, but just very rigid, right-angled, and easy to catch on a back pocket both going in and coming out. They stick straight out from the phone case a full 1/16 inch. That's pretty far in phone-case-side terms. It’s not a comfortable feel. That said, you don’t have to fumble in the dark for a button… you know EXACTLY where it is. You can definitely find the buttons with gloves on, but if it's a knitted-type glove, the yarn might actually catch on the buttons. On the plus side, the buttons integrate well with the actual phone controls and the case overall is a solid, tight fit. Only time will tell if it loosens up later but for now it seems like a well-fitted case. Case edges are also a bit on the rough side but not nearly as bad as the buttons and they actually help with grip. Seems like a good bit of “height” around the screen area and the material around the case feels robust enough to protect from average drops. I’m torn about whether this should only be three stars but man… I really don’t like these hard buttons.

Every time I’ve needed to replace my iPhone because of software or storage issues, I always buy a Jetech case for the new replacement phone I purchase. I just bought my 4th case and it arrived today! Pros: -Fits PERFECTLY! No room to slide around or fall out of the case. -The rubber bumper around the edge of the phone is cushy for bumps and drops, but still feels naked enough where it doesn’t feel bulky so I barely notice it when I carry it in my pocket. -The nubs for the volume and standby buttons are an exact overlay so there’s no frustration turning on and off or volume up and down. -The exposed silence switch is a big positive. I don’t like the cases that have a rubber rover over those because I can never tell if it’s on vibrate or not from just looking at it. -The back of the case is clear so you can still see the phone for what it is. If you have a cool color or you just really like the way gray looks then you can see it. -Cutouts on the bottom are exact for speakers, microphone, and charge port. Cons: -I’m not really sure this is a con for me, but may be for some. The camera lens and flash is exposed on the back, meaning the clear plastic back has a cutout for that area. For me I like it because I can clean my lens easily before taking a picture preventing unwanted halos and foggy looking pictures, but others may have a different opinion. In summary, I will always come back to this brand because they make a quality product and excellent service.

I upgraded to this case when my clear case from another vendor started to yellow. This case is far more sturdy and the red color makes it stand out so that it's easily identifiable.
