I got this product to look at my gold and silver jewelry better and works amazingly. The case is very high quality with perfect fitting for the tool along with a slot for the battery remover tool. The tools itself is amazing. The normal light is very bright and it is also very easy to change between off, normal light, and UV light. The UV light works great for identifying real and fake money bills. The whole tool is made from solid metal and has a very robust and strong build. The smooth metal makes it easy to hold and put up to your eye. Once place inside the case, it becomes very easy to carry around and place in your pocket or bag with absolutely no worries about it breaking. The last photo included is a nice close up of my very small silver bar.

For the price, the built quality is exceptional. i found later this available in local market at lower price, yet accounting for my time constraints, this investment proved worth. Written Magnification is 40x, i didn't measure it, but if You are on smd boards, this works charm, and absolutely that is why i needed it for. Besides, the LEDs' are very well placed illuminating the area under observation more than adequately. I could give the product a 4 star for the *sharp edge on one side of the steel frame, but I don't think that'll be the case for every unit that's shipped. So thanking the Seller and Amazon with 5stars on this magnifier. If You are tight on budget and don't need the Brassy Premium ones, go for it.

Does it job I used this jewellers loupe to find the huid hallmark number on the jewelry With this instrument i am able to find huid on my jewelry Advantage is it comes with 3batterries which are really really needed to identify small huid on gold ornament normal tube light is not enough so with these led lights u can easily find numbers

The magnifying lens is made of plastic with a very poor optical quality. Not at all usable as a loupe.

You can zoom to see the pixels on your phone or laptop screen. It's heavy, looks good. But I'll prefer to spend more and buy a good USB microscope, which has more zoom. Returned, and got my money back, without any hassle. Impressed with the seller
