Where is this item made / manufactured?

I already discarded the wrapper but the Amazon site description says the country of origin is China.

I can’t get the twist cap to stay on. Any advice? (Loved it while it worked!)

The twist cap should stay locked until you twist it again to unlock. If not sounds like you received a defective one, regrettably.

How wide is the wisk at widest?

It was wide, but I gave it away because I couldn't grip it to stay in position.
