Oslo 40mm Men’s Minimalist Quartz Analogue Watch Polyurethane Strap with Date Display

Very pleased with this watch which I bought as a replacement for a failing 22 year old Swatch. It's nicely made, very clear to read with its simple face avoiding any unnecessary fussy detail. It looks smart too, exceeding what you would expect at this price. The strap seems well made, very comfortable with a good range of adjustment.

Now i do like my watches and do have a fair collection of the famous named watches. I normaly collect mechanical calibres. However i'm not to much of a snob to look into the more affordable range of quartz movements from the other big brands and i do like to explore the more affordable offerings. Now sekonda do make some nice looking watches at a very fair price and i do have a few of there other designs. Sometimes you can find a little gem of a watch in the sales. i picked this one up for £20.00 pound on a limited deal. This is a lovely looking watch, the dial is clean and uncluttered, the Rose gold indices and hands work beautifully with the dark blue dial. The crystal is mineral crystal and is crisp. at 40mm the watch is not oversized. and at 8mm thick this is one of the thinest watches i currently own. The date window really is tiny and not easy to read but works well with the design. The band with is 20mm meaning it's easy to find a replacement strap that is of better quality and in a colour that suits personal tastes. However the strap supplied is absolutely awfull, the colour really does not work with the dial colour and really does make the overall combination look and feel very cheap and inbalanced. The watch in itself does not feel heavy, fits nicely on my wrist and is comfortable to wear. I pulled the trigger with a view to switching the strap as soon as it arrived. I had already chosen a royal blue with white contrasting stitching and have to admit this really does transform this to a beautifull combination. A watch that will work with sekonda's renowned reliabillity and with the strap change looks a really nice dress style watch that wil work as a daily beater and as a nice diner watch. All in all yes i added to the cost with a nicer strap. But having now worn the watch for a day i can confess i could fall in love with this now very good looking timepiece. Would i wear it to dinner Hmm quite possibly. i deducted one star for the rubbish strap, with a more suitable strap this i think for the price point could quite easily be a five star buy.

My partner loves this watch, a good clear face that he can read without reading glasses. Looks good on his wrist, not to heavy, comfortable to wear, I'm told, good value, battery long lasting.

Just browsing and found this on an offer for £13! Didn't need another watch but took a punt! Decent simple easy to read watch, looks pretty good but strap is a bit small...Just fits on last hole! Good watch for the money, I like it!

Arrived quicky and is an attractive looking watch. sadly one of the hands caught on another so it's gone out with the rubbish. In all the years I have worn Sekonda watches this is the only one I've been disappointed with

I bought this for my Dad over christmas. Its a very nice watch, good quality and very nice leather strap. The date display is quite small though. Also the box it came in was very cheap, could be provided in a better presentation I think

looks good. as mentioned elsewhere the strap is not really long enough, but just about ok for my wrist.
