Do they come off the sheet individually or in a line?

They come off the sheets in a line. Also they're very easy to use for various different craft projects... Just enough to add a little bling to your projects.

Is the adhesion both sides? Is the little tape exposed on the topside also has adhesion?

There is only adhesive on the back (silver) side, which is not exposed, as it is stuck to the plastic tray it comes on. The front (gem) side had no adhesive and is exposed when applied.

how big is each sheet?

About 1/2 of an 8x10 paper they are nice
