Works well with my naked iPhone xs. - I am so excited that this product perfectly fit my new iPhone xs, however, after some diy. Basically I don't like those iPhone cases because the exterior of iPhone xs is gorgeous. I don't want them hidden behind some ugly material. Then I found I faced at least 2 challenges: 1, the slippery metal exterior might let the phone fly away from everywhere. 2, the phone is not sturdy on flat surface because of the camera bump on the back. That means, if I put an anti-slip grip tape on the back, it won’t work well on the flat surface because the tape even can't touch the surface. Now I perfectly solve the problem by putting an 1mm thick foam sheet in between the grip tape and the phone back. Now the phone is super sturdy and elegant lying on the table. It grips everywhere instead of sliding away from everywhere. After all , here comes my suggestion, is it worth to produce a thick version grip tape which could compensate the thickness of camera bump? Review: Still sticking after 6 months - I read a lot of reviews that said that this product didn't stick. It's been over 6 months and mine still is. I have an Otterbox on my phone. I used rubbing alcohol to clean it and then stuck the cats tongue on it. The corners aren't even raising up yet. This keeps my phone from sliding all over when I put it down in the car. I will likely buy another one when I need one again.

Nice idea. Terribly made
I was intrigued by this product, so I bought one for my iPhone XR. In order to test its grip I grabbed my level and tested it on a plastic surface that is set at a 45 degree incline. At first it stuck well. After 24 hours of normal use in my pocket etc. I tried it again. This time it slid after 17 seconds. I also noticed the clear grippy layer was beginning to show signs of decay. After 48 hours of continued normal use I tried it again after cleaning it. The phone began to slide almost instantly and more tearing of the clear layer occurred. Overall this was a cool product for the first 15 minutes of ownership and deteriorated in performance rapidly after that. Would not recommend if you want something long lasting.

Lasts around 4 Months
I have bought this product a couple of times because I like the affordability, functionality, and ease of installation, and the patterns offered look quite nice; however, you should be warned that they only last around four months or so before they start to loose the grippy texture, and the adhesive starts to fail. This doesn't bother me too much, since they aren't that expensive, but it would be nice if they lasted longer.

VERY attractive and grippable!
As a 70+ year old, I really appreciate anything that adds grippiness to items I carry around all the time. This Cell Phone Grip is excellent! It applies easily and STAYS firmly attached! The pad adds great texture to the back of my phone. AND the beautifully colored pattern even helps me find my phone lying around the house (IF the back is facing upward). I strongly recommend this phone grip and would buy it again.

Depending on your use case, it can be perfect
So I like to go caseless for the most part, so this adds just the right amount of grip for my needs. I can see it being less useful for others. But that's everything.... For iPhone, magsafe still works through it for the most part and the Apple wallet still sticks securely, as the texture and grip compensates for the slight reduction in magnetism. It is not quite as effective in maintaining magnetism on other magsafe products like mounts and portable charger/batteries. If you rely on magsafe a lot, this is probably not going to be great for you.

Great Improvement to Slick Devices
I bought this product for a cellphone and a tablet which were so slick, it was difficult to hold them and they slid onto the floor unless I was extremely careful about where I laid them. My previous devices had surfaces in back that had some traction. CatTongue Grips has given those devices the traction they lacked... the perfect solution! The piece I bought for the cellphone was smaller than what I needed but I was able to cut several squares to fill in the top areas where my fingers reach when I grab the phone. It's easy to cut. The larger piece is at the bottom of the phone. The piece for the tablet is bigger than what I needed so I cut that down a bit and used the excess to trim long, skinny pieces for the sides of both devices. This has given me an even better grip and they have stayed in place.

Incredible Grip without taking away functionality!
I recently got an iphone 11 pro and this fit perfect without covering any of the camera. Also, and this is big to me it didnt take away the wireless charging function. Pros: Grip! Very good smooth grip, so good ill sit this on my lap and nothing even think about it slipping off because it doesn’t heck i could lay this on a 45 degree angle or more and perfectly stays in place. Cons: non so far I will buy more of this product from this seller when the need comes up again. I use otterbox symmetry cases for slim but great protect and this works flawlessly with that case.

GRiPhone grip stickers are much grippier than this product. Overall this is 'just ok', it gets two stars from me instead of one because of its attractive design. Disappointed in the level of grip since I was looking for an alternative to GRiPhone which looks very similar to griiip and griplus, all only available in Japan right now it seems. CatTongue should familiarize themselves with the competition and try to do better. Six Month update - reduced to one star, the grip is peeling from my phone. Very disappointing performance in every respect but the attractive design. Doesn’t grip well, doesn’t last well. Unfortunately griphone has left the grip business so the search is on for alternatives.

Asked for help from the supplier but never got an answer back, i think it’s too expensive for what it’s worth. Didn’t even last a month and began losing adhesion, very effective while it lasted though.
