In my bag to use should I need to mount just 1. Review: Just the job - This did just as I expected....transformed my bench grinder to a buffing machine. removed the grinding wheel and this spindle slid onto to existing spindle and was firmly secured with 2 allen grub screws. May have been running a little out of true but for a buffing mop was of no real consequence.

Piece of utter junk, not fit for purpose.
This is a piece of utter junk, not fit for purpose. It is not long enough internally to fit fully over the spindle thread to allow the grub-screw to engage on the shaft so cannot be used. My fear is that someone will try to use it while poorly fitted and have an accident.

Adjust the spindle to balance it.
This came off because the mop I was using had some vibration issues. I think the two grub screws need to be bigger to lock into the spindle better. Also, the spindle is not threaded on the inside and therefore is only held on by the grub screws.

the two grub screws are ok although they do not seem to be a very positive fixing
