Is this strong enough to act as extension to the nail or is it more of something to use as an overlay?

I haven't tried it as an extension, but I would think it's not strong enough to use as an extension based on the times I get nervous and start to peel it off (this is horrible for your nails don't do it) it's a great, and strong overlay though.

I'm struggling with it peeling off even with base, 2 coats and top coat any suggestions?

Sometimes different brand of base may couse this problem. Or if you prepair your nails wrong.
